Flowline Pull-in Tool System
  • Pull-In Tool (PIT)
An ROV controlled structural tooling package comprising two independent soft rope traction winches, docking probes and rope anchors, encompassing a pullhead docking and capture facility. Incorporated in the upper face of the tool is a guidance and docking facility with E/H control and communication connections for interfacing with the ROV via the Interface Skid. Size (mm) – 4100L x 2200W x 2000H

  • Interface Skid
A structural tooling package secured to the base of a Workclass ROV supplying functional power and controls to the PIT via a connection stabplate, and to a Front Frame tooling package and Tool Deployment Unit. Size (mm) – 2830L x 1920W x 2000H

  • Front Frame Assembly and Tool Deployment Unit
    - Clamp make-up tool
    - Low Torque Tool
    - Medium Torque Tool
    - Hot Stab Tool
    - Seal plate Change-Out Tool
    - HighTorqueTool

  • Tool Deployment Basket
A protection frame structure, designed to overcome the buoyancy of the PIT, for safe deployment / recovery from deck to seabed, using the vessel’s crane. On the seabed the PIT is removed from and replaced back into the basket by the ROV.

  • PC based Control System
A central control unit with page per tool display screen control including full diagnostic and maintenance pages. Located adjacent to the ROV pilot’s Control Console.

Note: ROV, Interface Skid and Pull-in Tool are all neutrally buoyant Subsea.

Umbilical Fly to Place Tool System
  • FTP Tool
  • Interface Skid (Common with Pull-in tool)
  • PC Based Control System
  • Support ROV
  • Tooling Deployed with ROV
