Hull Systems
INTECSEA provides full engineering capabilities for hull marine, utility and storage systems, and electrical and instrumentation systems design for different offshore floating facilities including semi-submersibles, TLPs, SPARs, FSO, FPSO, drilling and well intervention vessels.
INTECSEA hull systems are efficient, safe and proven for long-term FPU use. Our staff has experience in all phases of projects including concept development, detailed design, plan approval and construction. INTECSEA experience encompasses various systems design with client preferences for submersible pumps (electrical or hydraulic) in hull caissons, conventional pump rooms, or deep well eductor systems.
INTECSEA design incorporates reduced piping penetrations through column flats, minimum piping and equipment inside the hull. We identify and address issues related to the interfaces of the hull systems with topsides piping, electrical, instrumentation and control systems. We also identify significant risks to the cost, schedule or technical challenges related to the marine systems and risk mitigation strategies.
