For as-designed and as-built projects INTECSEA can develop operating and maintenance procedures to assist Clients during the start-up period and operating lifetime of an arctic pipeline system. As these factors are typically taken into account during design phases, INTECSEA are experienced in being able to propose appropriate engineering maintenance management processes in order to minimize ongoing costs for system operation and maintenance. This is typically done using the as-built condition as a baseline and updated with pipeline in-line-inspection and periodic route monitoring surveys.
Maintenance systems may consist simply of written procedures and inspection timeline schedules, or may be expanded into software systems with use of tried data management techniques. In this case a computer based system can be developed as a powerful tool for optimizing limited maintenance resources for effective results, by defining critical elements against a time history of system conditions, hence allowing for early detection of potential problems. INTECSEA has the capability and experience of developing maintenance management applications to suit any Client’s needs.
