Job Description:
The subsea Pipeline and Riser group at INTECSEA (UK) Ltd provide a critical role to all projects undertaken by the company in the UK office. An increasing workload requires the company to recruit a senior Pipeline project engineer with proven experience in the oil and gas industry with the prime role to lead subsea pipeline projects and support subsea systems development. The UK office supports the Europe, Africa and Middle East operating centre’s with close links to the INTECSEA headquarters in Houston and other offices in Delft and Perth. A varied number of activities related to all aspects of subsea pipelines design for subsea field development and pipeline systems which includes: Subsea system engineering Concept and feasibility studies FEED Detail design Rigid, Steel Catenary and flexible risers Rigid and flexible infield flowlines Large diameter long distance trunklines Ultradeep gas transmission pipelines Input to safety, reliability, risk analysis studies
Education and Experience:
Engineering degree or equivalent A flexible working approach is anticipated reflecting the needs of the varied work handled by the Subsea Pipeline and Riser group responsibilities will include: Performing design analysis using SAGE, Flexcom, Orcaflex, Offpipe, and Ansys/Abaqus Subsea structural aspects of Concept / FEED / detail design projects / Studies Interface with other discipline engineers Managing medium/large subsea pipeline studies Detailed design of small subsea pipelines and flowlines related projects Client interface Report / Technical Note writing Development and dissemination of materials-related best practice within INTECSEA global materials team Plans, organizes and recommends major changes to achieve overall objectives. Achieves quality results within schedule limitations.
