Garry P. Mahoney is INTECSEA’s SVP Global Business Development and Chief Technology Officer, responsible for leading the company's technology drive and coordinating multi- regional business development and global marketing.
Mahoney's role includes leading strategic and technology initiatives, advising key tendering and project execution activities and overseeing global publications. Mahoney also participates in the WorleyParsons global engineering leadership team, and is responsible for growing synergies across the wider group. Mahoney's role is focused on enabling the company’s knowledge and creativity to deliver the best solutions for our global customers and striving to sensitize the energy market to our differentiated offering.
Mahoney's 20 years experience covers the major global offshore oil and gas centers and a wide range of offshore subsea and floating facilities. His technology viewpoint is afforded by his broad exposure to system delivery accross the full project life cycle, from concept selection and field development, through large-scale EPCI tendering, technology development and implementation, execution and risk management, to facilities operation and decommissioning.
Mahoney joined INTECSEA in 2009 and was previously 15 years in the ENI group with senior level responsibilities in Europe and Asia-Pacific. This period included 10 years with Saipem, where he fulfilled various project and corporate management roles and where he was appointed a group director in 2006. Mahoney has international leadership experience, speaks French, and has working knowledge of Spanish and Italian.
Mahoney, a chartered marine engineer, completed a Bachelor's of Civil Engineering at Imperial College. He is published in the major conferences and journals, and holds several patents.
